Solutions to common issues when using Synced.

Calendar not syncing

If your calendar events aren't appearing in Synced:

  1. Go to Settings → Calendars
  2. Check if your calendar shows as "Connected"
  3. If not, click Reconnect Calendar to re-authenticate
  4. This often happens when your OAuth token expires (every 30-90 days)

Meetings not appearing on calendar

If meetings created in Synced don't appear on your Google/Outlook calendar:

  • Check that your calendar connection is active
  • Verify the meeting was confirmed (not still in draft status)
  • Try reconnecting your calendar via Settings
  • Ensure the meeting platform (Google Meet/Teams) matches your calendar provider

MCP not connecting

If Claude can't access Synced via MCP:

  • Verify your API key is correct and active
  • For Claude Desktop: Check claude_desktop_config.json syntax
  • For Claude.ai: Ensure the SSE URL includes ?api_key=
  • Restart Claude after config changes

Participant showing as "Not on Synced"

This means the email address doesn't have an active Synced account. You can still schedule with them — they'll receive a booking link to pick a time from your availability.
