How does Synced work across different companies?

Synced lets you add participants from any company by email. When they're on Synced, you see real-time calendar overlap. When they're not, Synced sends a booking link so they can pick a time from your available slots — no account required.

What calendar providers do you support?

We currently support Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook/365. Apple Calendar support is on our roadmap. Both providers support two-way sync — meetings created in Synced appear on your calendar and vice versa.

Create a short booking link (like meetsynced.com/book/carlos) that shows your real-time availability. Share it anywhere — recipients pick a time and the meeting is automatically created on both calendars. No back-and-forth emails.

No. When you share a booking link or schedule via the API, participants can book a time without creating an account. If they do join Synced, you'll see real-time calendar overlay for future meetings.

Calendly is booking-link-first — one person shares availability, the other picks a time. Synced is participant-first — you add everyone, see mutual availability in a heatmap, and find the best time together. Plus, Synced has native AI/MCP integration.

Can AI agents schedule meetings through Synced?

Yes! Our MCP server and REST API let any AI agent schedule meetings programmatically. Claude can use Synced tools directly. We're also building an SDK (@synced/sdk) for easier integration into custom agents.

What happens if someone's calendar can't be accessed?

Synced handles this gracefully. If a participant's calendar can't be fetched, you'll see a warning but can still proceed. The heatmap shows availability for accessible calendars, and you can manually select a time for everyone.

How does Synced protect my calendar data?

We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use OAuth 2.0 for calendar access — we never see or store your password. We only request the minimum calendar permissions needed (read/write events). Your data is stored in SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure, and we never sell or share calendar data with third parties.
